Du Quoin office and routes cancelled for March 5th

The IHLS Du Quoin offices and delivery routes have been cancelled for Thursday March 5th due to inclement weather.  The office will be open for the board meeting that starts at 5pm. 
Delivery out of Edwardsville and Champaign are running normally.

System Services

As you may be aware, the Illinois State Library has submitted a draft update to the Administrative Rules related to the Illinois State Library System Act to be adopted by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR).  You will find the complete text in the Illinois Register here.  Our sister system Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) has analyzed the proposed rules and posted that analysis here.

IHLS Funding News

IHLS recently received $1,903,762.75 of its FY2015 funding. These payments included $659,722.21 of Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds, $513,707.20 General Revenue funds, and $730,333.34 Live & Learn funds. To date we have received 56.5% of the total $3,364,429.41 allocation or FY2015.
