Earlier this year several focus groups were conducted and member libraries were surveyed to evaluate member library satisfaction with current services we provide and to identify future needs. Summary reports of the member survey, employee survey and focus groups are included with this update.

A recap of significant actions taken by the board at their July 28, 2015, meeting.

Next board meeting date: Tuesday, August 25, 2015.

Today we received $730,333.32 for the FY2015 System Area & Per Capita Grant, which represents the remaining Live and Learn payments for this fiscal year. This is the second year in a row we have received all grant funds before our fiscal year end.

The total FY2015 grant allocation is $3,364,429.41. However, this year we received an additional $36,270.91 from remaining equalization funds available in the budget line. That brings the grand total for FY2015 to $3,400,700.32.

The Dream Grant video highlights how SHARE membership can have a very positive impact on a community—especially smaller more rural ones.

IHLS delivery staff have been testing our new customer ticketing software and are now at the stage where we feel we can release it to everyone.  We ask that you please be patient! We are confident that any “bugs” will be worked out, as our members begin to utilize the software.
