eRead Illinois Update

We hope you're staying warm in this frigid weather. Curling up with a good e-book and a hot beverage sounds delightful right about now! We won't be sending out a newsletter this week, as we only have a few updates to share, provided below:

  • If you haven't signed up to participate in the 3M Cloud Library shared collection, are you worried that cost is an issue? Remember, the eRead Illinois advisory committee is dedicated to making this an affordable option for all types of libraries. You can request a fee quote for your library at any time with no obligation to participate. Simply fill out the fee request form and send it to Lesley at: lzavediuk@illinoisheartland.org. Even though the initial sign-up period is over, we're still adding libraries at the start of each month.

  • Don't forget, we're purchasing e-books every Friday afternoon. If you would like to add titles to the shared collection in a given week, please make sure that all items are finalized in your 3M Shopping Cart by noon on Friday. Once a purchase is made, we'll send you a confirmation letting you know how much you spent.

  • Speaking of 3M Shopping Carts, we've added two more training opportunities. Check out the upcoming sessions below and pick a time/format that works for you:

         * Wednesday, January 29th, 2:00 pm: 3M Shopping Cart Demo via Adobe Connect
         * Thursday, February 6, 10:00 am: In-person 3M Shopping Cart Demo at C.E. Brehm Memorial Public Library District
