Reference Librarian Faculty - College of DuPage

Branch Supervising Librarian - Pinney and Monroe Street Branch Libraries (Madison, WI)

This is responsible advanced-level professional library work in providing leadership, coordination and management of staff, library collections and assigned facilities. This class is also characterized by primary emphasis on the development and implementation of a major library program. Work involves considerable programmatic responsibility, judgment and discretion. Head of Youth and Young Adult Services - Messenger Public Library (North Aurora)

Messenger Public Library of North Aurora (www.messengerpl.org) is seeking a dynamic leader library professional to provide leadership and management for the Youth and Young Adult Services Department of the Library and work as a member of the Library’s Management Team. North Aurora, Illinois (population 16,760) is 35 miles west of Chicago located in Kane County along the Fox River. Circulation Assistant (Part-time) - O'Fallon Public Library

Schedule will include two evenings per week (Tues. and Weds. 4-8), as well as Saturday and Sunday shifts, averaging approximately 8-12 hours per week. Opportunity exists for more hours on an as-needed basis to cover staff time off.

Duties include responding to customer inquires either in person or by phone, referring patrons to childrenʼs and reference department as needed, performing all duties associated with an automated circulation system, processing library card applications and orienting patrons to library services, assisting patrons with book selections and the use of the OPAC. May also be assigned to assist with special events or work on projects assigned by the Circulation Manager or Director.

Adult Services Librarian -- Jacksonville Public Library

Collections Analysis and Planning Specialist - UIUC

Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a data and service driven, collaborative, and experienced data analysis professional to serve as the University Library’s Collections Analysis and Planning Specialist. This position is a key contributor to assessment of the library collections and will work closely with the Office of Collections, the Coordinator for Library Assessment and individual subject specialists and information technology professionals on the collection and analysis of statistical data related to the collections and materials budget, on the preparation of annual materials budgets and requests, and other duties as assigned. The Specialist will assist in: the coordination and support for resource selection, the evaluation of existing resources, will perform collections budget analyses, provide support to the AUL for Collections in identifying trends and projecting future needs, supports outreach on scholarly communication and publishing as related to the Office of Collections.
