The 2015 Public Library Per Capita and Equalization Grant application which is due on or before October 15 is available at http://www.cyberdriveillinois.
This year there are two parts to the grant application — first is the application itself, found under Application Forms and Instructions and second is the Expenditure Report Forms. If you did not report the use of grant funds for 2013, you must use the 2013 form(s) and send as an attachment with your application. If you have already spent FY2014 grant funds received in the spring, you have the option of using the 2014 form(s) and reporting in October, or you can wait until next year. FY2014 funds must be encumbered by June 30, 2015 and expended by August 15, 2015.
As per the FY15 Public Library Per Capita and Equalization Aid Grant Requirements, Illinois public libraries must have at least one staff member attend an instructional course to fulfill the education and training requirement. To fulfill the technology requirements, at least one member of the library staff and at least one board member must attend an informational webinar or in-person session about The Edge Initiative.
