Browser requirements for WorldShare ILL

OCLC WorldShare® Interlibrary Loan is tested with specific browser versions in conjunction with each release of new functionality, to ensure the best possible experience for users of the service. Newer browser versions are needed to enable use of the new and expanded features of WorldShare ILL. This tip summarizes current browser requirements and provides advance information about a change in support for Internet Explorer version 8.

The browsers and versions most recently tested with WorldShare® Interlibrary Loan are:

Du Quoin office closed Friday, December 6

Due to inclement weather, the IHLS Du Quoin office will be closed.

Delivery will not run Friday from the Du Quoin hub. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have a LLSAP emergency while the office is closed, please call the phone number for your hub and follow the directions to reach someone in the automation department.

Board meeting rescheduled

The November board meeting, originally scheduled for November 26, has been rescheduled for December 3, and will be located at the IHLS Edwardsville office.

IHLS Holiday Closing

All IHLS offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving both Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 . Delivery and Talking Book Services will not be provided. Additional routes may run on Monday to compensate for volume.

Article Exchange integration in WorldShare ILL – What it means for library staff

Last week, Article Exchange workflows were integrated into the WorldShare Interlibrary Loan service. Let’s take a closer look at how these new workflows save time for your library’s ILL borrowing and lending activities.

  • One location for all ILL workflows. You can now upload and retrieve documents in Article Exchange from within the WorldShare ILL interface, without leaving the service to work in a separate window.
